Detailed itinerary of your Morocco trip - 4 Day

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley (6 hours drive | 342 km)

We start our journey early from Marrakech, driving through the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Along the way, we stop at traditional Berber villages and enjoy stunning panoramic views.
Our first major stop is Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah, famous for its appearance in many Hollywood movies. You will explore its ancient streets and learn about its rich history.
After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Morocco, home to the famous Atlas Film Studios. Driving through the Rose Valley, we arrive at the beautiful Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a cozy guesthouse.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga Desert (5 hours | 270 km)

After breakfast, we explore the Dades Gorges, famous for its twisting rock formations and breathtaking views. Continuing our journey, we drive towards Todgha Gorge, Morocco’s most spectacular canyon, where you can walk between the 300-meter-high cliffs.
In the afternoon, we head towards the Sahara Desert, passing through small Berber villages. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will prepare for a camel trekking adventure across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. As the sun sets, the desert glows with magical colors.
At the luxury desert camp, you will enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, listen to live drumming music, and gaze at the endless stars in the night sky.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt (6 hours | 320 km)

We wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we ride camels or take a 4×4 transfer back to Merzouga.
Our next stop is Rissani, a historic town known for its authentic souk (market), where you can explore local spices, crafts, and traditional Berber goods. Continuing through the Ziz Valley, we admire the largest palm grove in Morocco.
By the afternoon, we reach Midelt, a peaceful town nestled between the Middle Atlas Mountains. Here, we relax and enjoy the cool mountain air.

Day 4: Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

5 hours (200 km)
After breakfast, we continue our journey north, passing through the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaque monkeys. You will have time to stop and take photos with these playful creatures.
Next, we visit Ifrane, often called “The Switzerland of Morocco”, known for its clean streets, Alpine-style architecture, and snowy winters.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Fes, where we drop you off at your hotel or riad, marking the end of an incredible journey.
