Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley

(6 hours drive | 340 km)
We begin our desert adventure by leaving Marrakech early in the morning. As we drive through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), you’ll enjoy stunning views and photo stops in traditional Berber villages. We visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site that has appeared in many Hollywood movies. After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate and pass through the Rose Valley. By evening, we arrive in the scenic Dades Valley, where you’ll check into your charming guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga Desert

(5 hours drive | 270 km)
After breakfast, we explore the rock formations of the Dades Gorges before heading toward Todgha Gorge. You’ll walk through the towering canyon walls and take in the dramatic scenery. Then, we drive through desert landscapes and small Berber towns toward Merzouga. Upon arrival, you’ll begin your camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, we reach our luxury desert camp where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

(6.5 hours drive | 370 km)
We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before heading back to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, we visit Rissani’s bustling market, then continue through the lush Ziz Valley. Along the way, you’ll see Morocco’s largest palm grove and charming Berber villages. By late afternoon, we arrive in Midelt, a quiet town in the Middle Atlas, where you’ll relax and spend the night in a peaceful mountain guesthouse.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

(5 hours drive | 200 km)
On the final day of our journey, we travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping to meet the playful monkeys of the Azrou Cedar Forest. Then, we explore Ifrane, Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” known for its clean streets and alpine charm. We reach Fes by afternoon, where we drop you off at your riad or hotel, concluding our 4-day Morocco desert tour with wonderful memories and unforgettable experiences.
