  • Itinerary:

**Day 1: Marrakech Guided Tour**

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Marrakech. Your private guide will take you to explore historical sites such as Jemaa El Fna square, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian tombs, the Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. You’ll also have lunch at a restaurant close to the square. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the beauty of the Majorelle Gardens and take a look around the new city of Marrakech. Later, you’ll return to the same riad for your overnight accommodation.

**Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges**

Your Moroccan tour driver will meet you at your hotel/riad at 8:00 a.m. for a journey over the high Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). You’ll stop to admire the stunning mountain landscapes and traditional Berber villages. After crossing the mountains, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous as a filming location for multiple movies (like Gladiator and Game of Thrones). Following lunch, explore Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” before continuing to the Valley of Roses, renowned for its annual rose harvest. Finally, you’ll drive along the road of a thousand kasbahs to Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel/riad overlooking the valley.

**Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Sahara Desert**

After breakfast at the hotel/riad, depart for Todra Valley, known for its lush environment and old mud villages. Arriving at Todra Gorges, a magnificent canyon rising 500m, enjoy lunch before heading toward the Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi). You’ll pass an ancient underground irrigation system (Khettarat) before reaching the desert, where your camels will be waiting. Enjoy a camel ride across the golden dunes, and spend the night in a nomadic tent, complete with a Berber music band under the stars, creating unforgettable memories in the Sahara.

**Day 4: Exploring the Desert Area (Culture and History)**

After breakfast, begin exploring the region by visiting the Gnawa people, descendants of slaves from Sudan, to learn about their music and culture. You will also meet nomadic families living in Berber tents and experience their lifestyle. Lunch will consist of a local Berber dish shared with a family. You may also visit the traditional souk in Rissani, a historic town that served as a meeting point for caravans. After this enriching day, enjoy a welcoming glass of mint tea before retiring to your riad/hotel for dinner and the night.

**Day 5: Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) – Alnif – Nkoub – Ouarzazate**

After a traditional breakfast at the riad, you’ll embark on your journey to Ouarzazate with stops at breathtaking panoramic views of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and various Berber villages. Witness an amazing sunrise atop the vast sand dunes before heading to Draa Valley, the main source of dates in the country. Enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant before continuing to Ouarzazate for your overnight stay.

**Day 6: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech**

Following breakfast at the riad, set off for Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a free afternoon upon your arrival to explore the city at your own leisure.

**Day 7: Transfer to the Airport**

Your journey concludes as you are picked up from your riad and taken to the airport, marking the end of your memorable experience with Desert Day Tours team.
