Our 4 Days from Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour begins after breakfast when our driver picks you up from your accommodation in Fes. We start by traveling to Ifrane, famously known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” due to its European-style architecture and scenic surroundings. Continuing the journey, we visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can spot Barbary apes in their natural habitat.

Next, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Midelt, a town famous for its apple orchards. Here, we pause for a lunch break before continuing toward the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its vast palm groves and breathtaking panoramic views. As we descend into the Sahara region, we arrive at Merzouga, the gateway to the desert. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with refreshing mint tea while checking in to your accommodation. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful night, preparing for an exciting day ahead in the Moroccan desert.

Day 2: 4×4 Merzouga Desert Excursion & Camel Trekking (Minimal drive in the region)

After breakfast, we embark on an exciting 4×4 Merzouga desert excursion, driving through the mesmerizing sand dunes, some reaching heights of 250 meters. We take an off-road route along the famous Rally Dakar track, stopping at the Tissardmine Oasis, known for its ancient fossil quarries.

Next, we visit a nomadic Berber family, giving you a unique opportunity to experience their traditional lifestyle. We then continue to Khamlia village, home to the Gnawa people, where you can enjoy a live musical performance with deep-rooted African rhythms.
After lunch, we return to our accommodation to prepare for a camel trekking experience. Our camel guide will lead you across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will witness a spectacular sunset over the Sahara. Your journey ends at a luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy traditional Berber music, dance by the campfire, and a night under the star-lit sky. Your private tent includes air conditioning, a hot shower, and a private toilet for maximum comfort.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley (5–6 hours drive | 300 km)

This Morocco itinerary was perfect for our small group. The van was comfortable, and the accommodations were excellent, especially the riad in Dades Valley. The desert camp was beyond beautiful, with clean facilities and warm hospitality. Our guide, Hassan, ensured that we had plenty of stops for pictures and rest along the way. I especially appreciated the flexibility of this private tour – we never felt rushed. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience Morocco in comfort.
