We offer two types of desert camps in Merzouga. Luxury Desert Camp includes private en-suite tents with hot showers and toilets, comfortable real beds with fresh linens, electricity and phone charging stations, traditional Moroccan dinner and breakfast, and Berber music around the campfire. Standard Desert Camp is a budget-friendly option with shared bathrooms, simple mattresses on the ground, no electricity in most cases, and a more basic experience. Most travelers choose the luxury camp for extra comfort.

Can I bring a suitcase on the tour?

Yes! Your luggage will be stored safely in the vehicle throughout the tour. However, for the overnight desert stay, we recommend bringing only a small backpack with essentials. Your larger suitcase will be stored securely in Merzouga.

Is the water safe to drink in Morocco?

Tap water in Morocco is generally safe for locals but may upset travelers’ stomachs. We recommend drinking bottled water, bringing a refillable water bottle with a built-in filter, and avoiding ice cubes unless in a high-end restaurant.

Can I get a SIM card for internet access in Morocco?
