6 Days Casablanca Desert tour

• Itinerary:

**Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes.**

Our private tour driver will meet you at your location at the time scheduled for our trip. Then, depart for our 6-day Casablanca Desert tour to Marrakech, stopping first in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Once we arrive, we will visit Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of Oudaya. Our Casablanca tour continues to Meknes, one of the Moroccan Imperial cities, where we can see the impressive Bab Mansour (Gate of Mansour). Our next stop will be the Roman ruins of Volubilis before heading to Fes for an overnight stay in our Riad.

**Day 2: Fez Guided tour.**

After breakfast, you will take a walking tour of Fes Medina with our local guide. We will visit the royal palace of Fes, known for its beautifully decorated doors and walls. We’ll explore the souks in the old Medina and visit the leather workshops. During our time in Medina, we’ll take a break for a traditional Moroccan lunch before returning to our accommodation. Dinner and an overnight stay will follow.

**Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga.**

Day three leads us from Fes to Merzouga. We’ll drive to Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” due to its European-style architecture. Upon arrival in Azrou, we’ll have a chance to see and feed the monkeys in the cedar forest. Continuing towards the south, we’ll cross the Anti Atlas mountains and stop at Ziz Valley to take in its stunning views before reaching Erfoud, known for its fossils and dates. Upon our arrival at the Merzouga dunes, we’ll be welcomed with Berber tea while we check in to our hotel. Dinner and overnight in a panoramic hotel.

**Day 4: Merzouga 4×4 Desert excursion.**

After breakfast, we’ll set off for a 4×4 desert tour. We’ll drive through the dunes, visit nomad tents and mud igloos, and perhaps enjoy tea with them. Our off-road journey will take us to marble quarries and the Miffis mines of Eyeliner before heading toward the village of Khamlia to experience Gnawa music. We’ll savor a Berber Pizza or Couscous for lunch, then return to our hotel to prepare for our camel trekking experience. We’ll ride camels to the top of the dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset before trekking back to our luxury desert camp for an evening party and overnight stay under the stars.

**Day 5: Merzouga desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate.**

You can wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast. After our meal, we’ll set off for another adventure, heading from Merzouga through Erfoud, Jorf, and Tinjdad towards the Todra Gorges. We’ll enjoy a walk beneath the towering 300-meter-altitude canyons and listen to the river sounds. Continuing, we’ll visit the Rose Valley and Skoura as we head to Ouarzazate. Our arrival will include visiting Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Studio, then checking in at our hotel for an overnight stay.

**Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas mountains – Marrakech.**

After breakfast, we’ll prepare for our journey through the High Atlas mountains. Our first stop will be the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, where we’ll enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site, wandering through its alleys and rock stairs. After exploring, we’ll cross the Tizi-N-tikka pass at 2600 meters. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we’ll escort you to your accommodation, marking the end of our 6-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech.
