3 Day from Marrakech to Merzouga

• Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Rose Valley – Dades Valley.

3 Days Marrakech to Merzouga departure:
On the first day of our 3 days Desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will start with a drive along the High Atlas mountains and enjoy the panoramic views of the snow. The first day’s tour will include some stops at the panoramic spots on the way.
After 3 hours of driving in the High Atlas, we will stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou with our guide/driver—a UNESCO heritage site located in the foothills on the southern slopes.
After lunch, we will drive towards the city of Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, and then cross the Valley of the Rose to arrive at Dades Valley. Finally, we will check in for our accommodation, enjoying a glass of mint tea in the afternoon. Dinner will be included in the accommodation.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert.

Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour 2nd day:
On the second day of our Desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will experience the diverse landscapes of Morocco. We’ll start our journey by driving from Dades Valley to the city of Tinghir, where we’ll visit the stunning Todra Gorge. This is a chance to stretch our legs with a short walk and capture some memorable photos.
As we continue our journey toward Merzouga, we’ll pass through several traditional Moroccan desert villages, taking in the unique architecture. Upon reaching Erfoud, we’ll stop for a brief visit to a fossil workshop, where we can learn about the fascinating process behind these natural treasures.
Finally, we’ll arrive at the breathtaking Merzouga dunes, where we will meet our camel guide for an exciting camel trekking adventure. We’ll trek to the top of the sand dunes, allowing time to snap some stunning sunset photos. After a memorable experience, we’ll trek back to our luxury desert camp, where we’ll enjoy an evening of dinner and festivities under the stars. The camp is equipped with hot showers and a restaurant, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Draa Valley – Marrakech.

Our itinerary kicks off with a drive from Rissani towards the Atlas Mountains. As we traverse the Draa Valley, we’ll be captivated by the lush greenery and stunning scenery that characterize this region.
The journey continues to Ouarzazate, a city renowned as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its renowned film studios. Depending on your interests, you can choose to visit the Cinema Studio for a closer look at this cinematic hub. After soaking in the sights, we’ll make your way back to Marrakech.
