**Day 1: Fes – Middle Atlas Mountains – Ziz Palm Grove – Merzouga Desert**

Your journey begins in Fes, Morocco’s first imperial city, as you traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains. During your travels, you’ll pass through Ifrane, often referred to as “Moroccan Switzerland” due to its charming architecture. you’ll continue to the cedar forests, home to the native Barbary apes, the largest forests of cedar in Morocco. As you cross the Middle Atlas, you might spot tents and caves belonging to nomadic families before making your way to Medalt, famous for its Apples. Before reaching your overnight lodging, you’ll stop to admire the stunning views of palm groves in the area.

**Day 2: Merzouga Desert 4×4 excursion**

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll explore the desert area, starting with an impressive irrigation system that has been in use for over a century. The next stop will be the village of Khamlia, where you can experience the vibrant Gnaoua music culture, influenced by residents from various African nations who have blended into the local Berber community. Here, you’ll enjoy a taste of “Berber pizza,” prepared by a local family. Upon arrival at Tinghir, a visit to Todra Gorge is a must. This stunning canyon, with its impressive cliffs soaring 300 meters high, is one of the area’s most famous natural attractions. After exploring the gorge, we’ll proceed to Dades Valley, where you can admire the incredible views of lush fig tree fields. Today, you’ll travel off-road, exploring the area between Dades Valley and Roses Valley, where you’ll encounter local nomads still living in caves and tents. In El-Kelaa M’Gouna, up to 4000 tons of rose petals are harvested each spring for rosewater and perfume production, and the Rose Festival takes place here in May. As you continue toward Skoura, you’ll see beautiful Kasbahs amid lush greenery. Skoura is also known for its remarkable palm groves and stunning Kasbahs. you’ll visit Ait BenHaddou, perhaps the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, featured in numerous films and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey will take you over the Tizi n Tichka pass until we reach Marrakech, where you’ll spend the night in the heart of the ancient medina.

**Day 5: Marrakech (City Tour with Local Guide)**

After breakfast, a local guide from Desert Day Tours will meet you to start your guided tour of Marrakech. You’ll explore the city’s most captivating sights and monuments, including the stunning Bahia Palace, the impressive Koutoubia Mosque, the historic Saadian Tombs, and the vibrant Jamaa El Fna Square, where you can soak in the lively atmosphere and local culture.
