• 6 days | 5 Nights itinerary:

**Day 1: Agadir – Taliouine – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate**

On the first day of our 6-day Sahara desert journey, the Desert Day Tours driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. We’ll set off through picturesque Berber villages, with opportunities to stop along the way based on your interests. Our first visit will be to a saffron cooperative, an important part of the local economy.
We’ll enjoy lunch at the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, which has been the filming location for movies such as *Gladiator*, *Obelix*, and *The Mummy*. After exploring the kasbah, we’ll proceed to Ouarzazate, famously known as “The Gate of the Desert,” where you’ll spend the night at a charming Riad.

**Day 2: Ouarzazate – Roses Valley – Dades Valley – Toudra Gorges – Merzouga**

After breakfast, we’ll embark on our journey into the Sahara. Our first stop will be in Roses Valley at the Roses Cooperative to learn about rose distillation and its various products. Following that, we’ll head to the Toudra Gorges for a 20-minute exploration break and lunch at a nearby restaurant. Finally, we’ll arrive at the camel station in Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel ride before spending the night in a nomadic tent, surrounded by Berber music and the beauty of the Sahara stars.

**Day 3: Merzouga excursion (Sahara journey on 4×4)**

Wake up early to witness the sunrise and enjoy breakfast at the camp. We will then explore the Merzouga area, visiting the Gnawa people to get insights into their music and traditions. We’ll also discover the lives of nomadic families in Berber tents, sharing a local dish (Berber pizza) for lunch with a local family. A trip to Rissani’s souk, a historical town linked to Morocco’s ruling family, will offer a glimpse of local life. In the afternoon, we’ll head back to our hotel for a night of relaxation.

**Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech**

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey back to Marrakech, making scenic stops along the way. One of the highlights will be Draa Valley, celebrated for its palm trees and date production. We’ll also make an early morning stop to enjoy the stunning sunrise over the sand dunes. After appreciating the valley’s beauty, we’ll continue through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, where you’ll be welcomed by Morocco Helping Tours and spend the night in a Riad in the old Medina.

**Day 5: Marrakech guided tour with a local guide**

Your exploration of Marrakech, “The Red City of Morocco,” begins post-breakfast at the Riad. With a local guide, you’ll visit significant sites such as Jemaa El Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Quranic School. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, we’ll visit the Majorelle Gardens and explore the modern part of Marrakech. You’ll spend the evening back at your Riad in the old city.

**Day 6: Marrakech – Airport**

On the final day, you’ll be transferred to the airport according to your flight schedule, concluding our wonderful Sahara desert tour.
