4 days Marrakech to Fes Tour description

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou – Rose Valley – Dades Valley.

At the scheduled time of departure, your English-speaking driver will come to greet you at your accommodation or Airport in Marrakech, then drive for your 4 days from Marrakech to Fes desert trip. The destination is towards the mountains of the High Atlas on the way to the South-east of Morocco. Your driver is going to make a few stops for you in the panoramic spots to take some photos, then continue your trip to one of the Argal Oil workshops. Here, you can explore the traditional way women export Oil from Argan nuts.
Your Desert tour to Fes continues towards one of the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou’s “UNESCO Heritage” after crossing the 2600-meter altitude mountains. On your arrival at the Kasbah, your driver/guide will accompany you on a guided visit to explore this famous Kasbah and walk in its alleys. After your visit, you have lunch in a local restaurant. Once you finish your lunch, you are going to continue your Desert tour journey on the way to Ouarzazate, Skoura Valley, and drive along the Rose Valley to enjoy its thousands of Kasbahs views. After a while, join the Valley of Dades where you are going to stop for the night. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga desert.

Once you have breakfast, you are going to start your Marrakech tour to Fes 2nd day. Today, your trip takes you onto the panoramic view of Dades Gorges, then continue towards the Valley of Todra to take some photos of the Jewish old houses. You are going to continue towards the canyons of Todra with an altitude of 300 Meters to enjoy a short visit to this fabulous spot.
Your Desert tour continues towards the South-east of Morocco passing by a couple of Ksors “Berber villages” with a stop in Erfoud town “The fossil capital”. Here, you’ll have an opportunity to visit one of the fossil and marble workshops before a drive to the desert of Merzouga. On your arrival, you would be welcomed with a glass of Moroccan tea while checking for your rooms in the desert Riad. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Private 4×4 desert excursion (Camel trekking excursion and Night in a Luxury Desert Camp).

Once you have your breakfast, you will meet your driver and depart for your Desert 4×4 excursion. Start your journey with a drive in a great extension of a sandy desert, where we can find the big dunes of Morocco at 250 meters altitude. The first stop will be in one of the panoramic hills in the desert to see the amazing view of the whole sand dunes. After a while, you will continue your Merzouga desert excursion following the Ralley of Dakar offroad to visit Tissardmin Oasis where we can find fossil quarries still present in the area, then visit a nomad settlement and learn their secrets and manners before we drive to the black people’s village of Khamlia. At the village of Khamlia, you are going to visit one of the black people’s soul music home and listen to a couple of their music and dance. After a while, you go for lunch a in Berber restaurant to enjoy one of the traditional meals of the area which is the Berber Pizza. After lunch, your driver will take you back to your hotel to get ready to go on a Camel trekking excursion with your camel who will accompany you to the top of the sand dunes to take some amazing photos of the sunset. Afterward, you will camel trek straight to your Luxury desert camp for a great evening party full of fun in the camp with dinner and night included in the tents.

Day 4: Merzouga desert to Fes via Middle Atlas.

Since you are in the heart of the sand dunes, you may not want to miss the sunrise view in the early morning. After you have breakfast, you are going to depart for your 4th-day desert tour to Fes, passing by the Valley of Ziz. Then continue towards the Middle Atlas to enjoy the sights of the mountainous village. Before you arrive in Fes, you are going to include a stop at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see the Monkeys.
