During this 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, you will travel from Marrakech along the High Atlas mountains with your private tour driver. Discover the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou during an hour-guided visit, then continue to cross the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. You are also going to visit Todra Gorge during your Morocco desert tour, and then the Sahara dunes of Merzouga. Here you will enjoy an amazing experience of a Camel trekking tour with our expert English-speaking Camelman, and see a fabulous sunset overnight in a desert camp in the middle of the sand dunes. Your Moroccan desert tour from Marrakech will continue forward to Ouarzazate and back to Marrakech in the afternoon of the 4th day.

4 days Marrakech desert tour description
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains– Ait Benhaddou – Valley of Thousand Kasbahs – Dades Valley.
Your English-speaking private driver will come to meet you at the scheduled time in the morning, then depart for your 4 days Marrakech desert tour to Merzouga. Travel towards the High Atlas mountains where you are going to enjoy the most panoramic views of the Atlas with the Argan trees views. After a while, your desert tour driver will you a short stop at one of the Argan oil workshops to discover the process of how women use traditional materials to export Argan oil. Once you finish your short stop, you will continue traveling towards the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou,” a UNESCO Heritage site founded by Ethami Lglaoui. Once you arrive, you will go on a guided visit to discover the Kasbah with your private driver or a local guide. Afterward, you will walk back to a local restaurant for lunch.
Once you are ready, you are going to continue your Morocco desert trip towards Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, and the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs to arrive at Dades Valley where your accommodation for the overnight is located. Check-in for your rooms while being served with a glass of mint tea. Dinner and night.
Day 2: Day tour from Dades to the Desert dunes of Merzouga
After breakfast, you will start your Morocco desert tour 2nd day from Dades Valley. The first stop is going to be the panoramic view of Dades Gorge. After a while, you drive to visit one of the fabulous Canyons of Todra and walk under a 300-meter altitude Gorge. From here, you are going to the Merzouga desert dunes after passing by Erfoud. Upon your arrival at the dunes, you will meet your Camelman who will accompany you on a guided Camel trekking tour in Merzouga to see an amazing sunset behind the golden dunes. Your Camelman will accompany you back on camels to your luxury desert camp where you will take a cold shower and enjoy a drums evening party with our desert team. ( The camp is fully prepared with a private toilet and hot shower in each tent).
Day 3: Merzouga desert to Ouarzazate via Alnif and Draa Valley
Since you are at the heart of the sand dunes, you might want to wake up earlier in the morning to catch a breathtaking sunrise behind the dunes.
Breakfast at the camp restaurant, then meet your private tour driver who will make sure you are all ready for the next adventure day tour. This time your day tour will be from Merzouga towards the Valley of Draa, passing by the South economic city of Rissani and Alnif. On your way, you will enjoy the views of the thousand palm trees and Acacia trees and meet nomad Shepherds.
Lunch break will be at Nkoub village, then continue your private day tour towards Ouarzazate via Draa Valley and Ait Saouen pass. At Ouarzazate, you are going to see the Kasbah of Taourirt and take some amazing photos, then continue to your accommodation for check-in. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tour from Ouarzazate to Marrakech via the High Atlas
Since you are in the Hollywood of Africa “Ouarzazate”, you are going to have an opportunity to visit the Cinema Studio of Ouarzazate, then continue your Morocco tour back to Marrakech via the High Atlas. On you arrive at the red city, your desert tour driver will accompany you to your accommodation where your Merzouga desert tour 4 day comes to end.
